We’re still going strong here in Foggia. We’ve been working hard and seeing some miracles. We had zone conference this week, which meant getting super hyped to attack the work and are big things! Also, it means zone calcio which was dope as usual. And it means I actually have some good pictures for the week haha.
As far as the work goes, we found a new investigator that is super excited to read the Book of Mormon, and get this, he wants to read it together with his wife and family! Sadly his family will be out of town for a couple weeks, but I am excited to see where this all goes once his family returns to Foggia and can start doing all the lessons together.
Honestly I feel like the longer I’ve been in my mission, the harder it gets to write these emails because I have no idea what to tell everybody haha. I need to start keeping track of cool stories or something. One funny thing that happened this week was that there was a member baptism and I was asked to play my violin for it. Then at the last second they changed the plan and only had me play an intro to the musical number, but they told me to make it really cool, so I quickly prepared something in a different room that had double stops and slides and some other cool violin things. When I played it, it sounded awesome, but when I stopped, the there was a pause for a good minute before one of the most awkward renditqaions of “come thou fount” I have ever heard was sung. Luckily it didn’t drive the spirit away too much because the confirmation and the testimony after was still touching.
I hope you all are doing great wherever in the world you all are now. Italy is still awesome! The mission is still great too!
Love you guys!
